A super tasty protein packed snack or main meal!
1kg turkey breast mince
1 heaped tsp tikka curry powder
10g garlic, peeled and ﬁnely chopped
3/4 tsp sea salt
Makes 5 burgers
Place the turkey mince in a large bowl.
Mash well with a fork.
Add the tikka curry powder, salt and garlic and mix well.
Place a sheet of cling ﬁlm on a kitchen scale.
Spoon on 200g of the turkey mixture.
Seal gently and shape into a pattie.
Repeat steps with remaining mixture to create 5 patties.
These can now be refrigerated or frozen until ready to cook.
To cook the burgers, melt 2 tsps coconut oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
Fry the patties gently for around 5 minutes on one side then ﬂip and fry until thoroughly cooked.
Serving suggestion: Serve with wild rice, mixed vegetables and Greek yoghurt.
Store any leftover cooked burgers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
