Prior to training with Reach, Vanessa was spending 2 hours at a time doing cardio workouts, focusing on burning calories, without really getting anywhere.
After seeing her friend’s results with Reach, she decided to join to see if it would work for her.
The key points that we focused on with Vanessa on were:
- Training shouldn’t be about burning calories.
- She didn’t need to be working for the entire session in order to get results. Rest between sets was new to her and took some adjusting to.
- Fat Loss and Weight Loss are interlinked but are not the same thing.
- Nutrition is key for fat loss.
Vanessa picked up the training and nutrition principles almost immediately and made exceptionally fast progress. We always work with each individual client to ensure that they are working at a rate that’s suitable and sustainable for their ability and mindset. Vanessa just wanted to “smash it” from day one and her non-nonsense, positive mindset helped her to lose 3 stone in 3 months and get the body of her dreams!
She was then able to ease off and learn how to maintain it whilst having more freedom for social and family events.
